Some Good Car Buying Advice

I was doing research about car loans and values for a business project and I learned a lot. Near the end of the research I ran into this article that puts all the good advice for consumers in one place.
Never buy a brand new car unless you’re rich.

Purchase a slightly used car. You get a good reliable car that is 50 percent cheaper than it was two years ago.

Never take out a car loan with payment terms longer than three years

Well Mr. Wickham, this is yet another example of respecting the message irrespective of the messenger. The NOI is spot on with this advice. And interestingly enough, the husband and I went looking for slightly used Volvo wagons yesterday. We got our current one slightly used with forty fourK miles and it is still scooting along!
