Ending The Minimum wage Debate with COLA

I call on President Bush to propose that a Cost of Living Adjustment should be added to the minimum wage. There should be no increase today in the minimum wage so there will be no immediate affect by passing this law. Since the COLA is a well known quantity businesses can plan for it without being held hostage to political posturing.

It may be passed with a law to index the Alternative Minimum Tax to inflation as well.
